We woke last night at 11 p.m. and, after a hot drink and some biscuits, left for the summit at midnight. The team climbed well throughout the night and reached Stella Point at 5.20 a.m. From there we pushed to Uhuru Peak just in time for sunrise. It was minus 15 degrees Celsius, but everyone was rewarded with reaching the highest point on the African continent!
Congratulations James, Martin, Dave, Sam, Nick, Lucas, Peter, Ronnie and Dismas, our main guide. Everyone made it down safely and we are now resting before heading down to Mweka Camp.
Another great result for Adventures Global!

Fantastic – well done!!
