Ronnie Muhl

In 1979, Ronnie Muhl read The Impossible Victory by Peter Habeler, and this was the birth of his passion to climb Everest. His dream came true in 2007 when he summited Mount Everest from the North Side. Ronnie has also climbed Kilimanjaro, Aconcagua, Denali, Elbrus and Kosciusko, put together the first South African expedition to Broad Peak in Pakistan, and has also been known to scale a few rock climbing routes.

He was born in the Johannesburg region of South Africa and now lives on the southern point of South Africa in a village called Simonstown. He is married to Elizabeth Bool, who joins him on all of his adventures and is as passionate about the mountains as he is. He has three incredible children and is someone who continually strives to be a better father, husband and human being. Ronnie has extensive experience as a team leader and is passionate about helping others achieve their dream and change their lives.

When we harness our true potential and engage our will, we make an incredible difference in this world today.

Kevin Farebrother

“I discovered that pushing myself to my limits mentally and physically was what I enjoyed, so mountaineering ticked all the boxes.”

And Kevin would know – as his three successful summits of Everest (2011, 2013 and 2016), along with his yachting expeditions, continually take him close to the edge of human endeavor.

Coming from a humble background in Manchester, England, Mount Everest was never part of the equation in the early days. After a “not so successful stint at grammar school,” he joined the British Army, eventually serving with the Special Forces in 23 SAS. It was this time that cemented Kevins love for the outdoors and gave him the skills required to navigate and survive in the mountains.

I’m excited about the future. I’ve found that inspiring people and helping them achieve their dreams is just as satisfying as achieving my own… I’m always planning the next adventure.

Neil Ward

Mountains and sea have dictated the course of my life!”

Neil grew up in Pembrokeshire, the most South Westerly point of Wales, where he learnt the basics of survival needed for any good adventure.

He has lived at the foot of Mt Blanc in the French Alps for the last 20 years where he has slowly been climbing his way across the Alps. He has completed many winter and solo in order to prepare for the more extreme conditions in the Himalayas and other worldwide expeditions.

Neil studied Industrial Geology to help him better understand the formation of the rock that he so loves. When he is not climbing or guiding clients, he works in the harsh offshore oil and gas environment.

Everyone has an adventure within themselves. I am here to share my knowledge and help you achieve these goals. Be brave and go for it.

Elizabeth Bool

Elizabeth first trekked in the Himalayas in 1987 and her passion for the mountains was then born. She returned in 2011 to trek to Everest Base Camp on her own and without a porter. She accompanies Ronnie on all of his expeditions and has summited Kilimanjaro and Elbrus, besides having spent extended time on Aconcagua and in the Base Camp of Everest during the expeditions that Adventures Global runs on both sides of the mountain.

She assists with all international logistics and travel arrangements for all of the expeditions run by Adventures Global, and is a firm proponent of the idea that people should fill their lives with memories and not things.

In the majesty of the mountains, you can quiet your soul and find your spirit. You can hear the soft voice of your destiny and find a powerful peace within.
